Abstract

Problem setting. In this article, the author addresses the problem of eco-innovative solutions related to renewable energy sources in the direction of increasing the resource efficiency of SMEs in industrial and eco-industrial parks.

Analysis of recent research and publications on the selected topic shows that relocation is a manifestation of modern processes of innovative development and innovative activity of SMEs in industrial and/or eco-industrial parks.

The purpose of this study is to identify the level of opportunities for the application of eco-innovation using renewable energy sources in electric transport, which are implemented by SMEs as participants in industrial and/or eco-industrial parks, to explore the legal nature of the category of eco-innovation related to renewable energy sources.

Article’s main body. An attempt is made to assess the effectiveness of methods of economic stimulation of innovative activities of SMEs through PPP, which ensures the interaction of the state and business in the automotive sector.

The author examined the activities of SMEs in the territory of industrial/eco-industrial parks as participants and found that SMEs as participants of industrial parks in the territory of the park during the implementation of eco-innovation create the opportunity to: increase the number of new jobs, promote the modernization of "green industry", implement resource efficiency approaches for SMEs and the circular economy, increase employment and regional development, strengthen the country's industrial potential in the direction of increasing the resource efficiency of SMEs in industrial and eco-industrial parks, and provide social infrastructure for the surrounding area (for the local population). The author proved that for sustainable development and functioning, SMEs located and registered in the territory of industrial/eco-industrial parks have the opportunity to use a set of advantages when implementing innovation as a way to increase their productivity and competitiveness.

Conclusions and prospects for development. It has been established that problems related to the functioning of SMEs located and registered in industrial parks and implementing eco-innovations remain relevant. A critical analysis of the activities of SMEs has proven that the task of eco-innovation activities in the automotive sector in SMEs is to increase the indicators of resource-efficient and clean production, and eco-innovation projects can become effective for the activities of SMEs because they are a powerful factor in reducing the negative impact on the environment, having a positive impact on the economic development of the state and providing jobs.

The novelty of the work lies in the isolation of eco-innovations related to renewable energy sources to determine the role in minimizing the impact of electric vehicles on the environment. It is noted that further eco-innovative changes in the automotive sector can be implemented in the direction of increasing the resource efficiency of SMEs in industrial and eco-industrial parks.
