Abstract

Article is devoted problems of legal regulation of exclusive intellectual property rights over the means of individualization of goods and services on the Internet. The author suggests a list of criteria
that should be used when creating the domain name. The factors contributing to the emergence of cybersquatting. These include : ease of procedure of domain name registration in the Internet and
the lack of procedures for checking for a match with existing domain names.
