INNOVATIVE SECTOR AND ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE STATE (STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM)

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the economic security of Ukraine in the field of
innovation and established its connection to the level of introduction of innovative technologies
and products.
The author has revealed the factors which influence the formation of state economy
development. In particular the following was studied: the oversaturation of the market by foreign
goods, significant wear of productive assets, critically low level of introduction of innovative
technologies and products, ineffective state policy in the sphere of investment in economic
development, statutory and regulatory base of innovative economy development which is
fragmented and inoperative.
The article also deals with the current state, the possible directions and the prospective of
transition of Ukrainian economy to the innovative course.
Also the article touches upon the main scientific-technical priorities while creating the
state policy upon economic and innovation security. The author underlines the importance of
research in the sphere of economic independence, the necessity of high level of educational and
cultural development, the maintenance of defense potential. The article presents several
fundamental researches which should be given the highest priority of state support.
The article proposes the possible ways to eliminate the structural imbalance in economy
development that should lead to safety in this field. The importance of the forecast modeling was
also studied.
Also the article provides the analysis of the current state of flow into the industry and
innovative technology, and also gives the possible ways to eliminate the drawbacks of state
investment policy. General conclusions were made about the need to create a proper system of
legal regulation of relations in the field of innovation.
