IMPROVEMENT OF CONTENT AND FORMS OF THE COMPETITIVE POLICY OF THE STATE (ECONOMIC AND LEGAL ASPECT)

Abstract

The purpose of the state’s competitive policy is to ensure the normal functioning of the market on
the basis of competitive methods. Effective implementation of competition policy in Ukraine requires the emplementation
of successful mechanisms and tools. In a number of branches of the economy, there is an oligopolistic structure of market
liberalization, and in some it is even monopolistic, what hinders the development of a real competitive environment. The
Law of Ukraine «On Protection of Economic Competition» provides for the application of protective measures against
competition, but in markets where there is almost no competition, there are needed the mechanisms to stimulate and
develop a competition, and as a consequence of maintaining and protecting the competitive environment.
