INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE SETTLEMENT OF LABOR RELATIONS IN THE SPHERE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
Problem setting. At present, information technologies have become part of our lives, including the Internet. It is the Internet that has become the driving force and the platform with no borders between countries and cities. The best experts from around the world may work on the Internet without leaving their rooms. Thanks to the Internet there is an opportunity of skilled workers distant cooperation. However, big changes have also led to big problems, i. e. outdated legislation that hampers the development of social technologies in the IT field. Unfortunately Ukraine still has Soviet norms of labor law, which is not adapted to the new challenges; moreover any international convention on remote work has not been ratified. Therefore, the legislation, in the sphere of labor in particular, has to be immediately reviewed and reformed in accordanc with the needs of society.
Analysis of recent researches and publications. Unfortunately, the subject of remote working in IT sector in Ukraine is not very popular. There are no systematic studies in this area, although some publications on the given subject started to appear recently. In particular, such Ukrainian researchers as Y. V. Svichkariova, A. M. Kolot, O. A. Grishnova, V. M. Danyuk, M. I. Karlin, O. I. Kyseliova, V. P. Kohan, I. I. Motorna, V. A. Savchenko got interested to the study of remote work. Target of research. The aim of the research is to analyze the international experience of legal regulation of distance work for its possible use in Ukraine.
