Modern approaches of the European Union to stimulating the innovation process

Abstract

The article is dedicated to reviewing the EU's current strategy for further developing a knowledge-based and innovation-based economy. Various forms and methods of stimulation of innovative activity are considered at both the private and public levels. The Community's general experience in deepening R&D cooperation and enhancing innovation performance has been summarized.
